Pretty in Pink
There is nothing better than road tripping especially if you have the liberty to stop and take beautiful photos.
My typical fashion ensemble for a road trip is not long flowey dresses with sky high heels however I decided I was going to make this one one of a kind and wear something special.
This lightweight Georgette forms a fitted bodice with princess seams and an apron neckline supported by adjustable spaghetti straps that crisscross atop a sultry open back. A billowing maxi skirt cascades from an elasticized waistline into an elegant finale, perfect for any special occasion! Hidden back zipper with clasp. Comes in a variety of colors. Link to exact dress is below.
Mythical Magenta kind of love maxi dress
I paired it with suede single strap matching heels to finish the look. My go to has alwys been to accessorize with a statement necklace and a chunky bracelet. I somehow go to my necklaces more than earrings since the ears and the earrings are covered by my hair anyway.
Now that fashion talk is done, let's talk about the breath taking locales in and around Utah and Arizona. It's like being in a movie driving from one state to another, reminded me of so many movies I have seen throughout the years, perhaps something old school, western classics desert, sand and little rocks and cactuses. The Rocky Mountains cover the horizon as far as you can see.
The horse shoe bend is an amazing place to be! It is a must see spot in Arizona. We were there around Sunset, trying to make it in time, it is quite a walk to get to the area from where you park and it was cold. Keep the walking shoes handy, I had my jacket and walking shoes handy, sea of people trying to watch the sunset makes it harder to get that perfect shot like you are the only one there but we are professional photographers for a reason and we managed to get a few quick seconds and captured the stunning background and if I may say so myself foreground as well!
Canon Mark IV with a 24-70 lens was used to shoot these images, horse shoe bend images were shot with an off camera bare flash.
