Style Stories in Versailles...
If you follow my blog, you will know by now, what makes my fashion heart go pitter-patter!
Here is another adorable girly dress with the cutest bows on it and a red built-in fabric belt to add that pop of color to the little black bows over the solid white color of the dress. I was instantly drawn to this dress which I interestingly found at 50% off retail price at a mall in China! Sorry, I am unable to link to it but I had to blog about the dress and the location.
Let's take a minute to talk about the extraordinary & breathtakingly beautiful location shall we?
The Palace of Versailles, Château de Versailles, or simply Versailles, is a royal château in Versailles in the Île-de-France region of France! It is about an hour and 30 minute train ride from Paris to Versailles. The Palace of Versailles, whose origins date back to the seventeenth century and, from the nineteenth century, a museum. With the gardens and the alaces of Trianon, the park of the Château de Versailles spreads over 800 hectares. The endless gardens are landscaped in classic french garden style, in addition to the meticulous manicured lawns, beautiful flowers, amazing sculptures and fountains are located throughout the garden. Instantly fall in love with this magnificent chateau and gardens with its incredible grandeur! J'aime les jardins
During my visit to France, it was raining off and on, I had an umbrella with me so I really didn't need one but I would run into this clear umbrella at a tourist gift shop in every corner I would turn and I absolutely had to have it. With all the Parisian details on the umbrella it was the perfect prop!
I paired my dress with Ochre yellow Steve Madden Heel Sandals. To be quite honest, this was the only pair of heels I carried with me but I loved how the contrast colors actually worked and completed my look.
A 24-105 lens was used for this shoot on a Canon Mark III body with available natural light. Pictures edited in Lightroom with Kevin Kubota pop rocks preset on some of the shots to add that pop of color and the SLR Lounge HDR vivid color preset that I absolutely love was used as well.
